1. Age Restrictions and Legal Compliance

1.1 It is strictly prohibited for Loveblock to sell alcohol to individuals under the age of 18. It is also illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to purchase alcohol, even if it is intended as a gift for someone else.

1.2 Falsifying age information with the intention of purchasing alcohol from Loveblock, while being under the age of 18, is an offense under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. Such an offense may result in conviction and a fine of up to $2,000. Please note that individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to make purchases on our platform.

1.3 Only individuals aged 18 years and older are authorized to sign for and receive orders from Loveblock. This requirement complies with the provisions of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. In the event that the recipient appears to be under the age of 25, the courier will request valid identification. If the recipient is under the age of 18 or cannot provide valid identification, the parcel will be returned to the depot for further instructions.

1.4 By submitting an order with Loveblock and agreeing to the Terms & Conditions, you confirm that both the buyer and the recipient of the order are 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to purchase alcohol in New Zealand.

1.5 Loveblock operates as a trading name for Loveblock Vintners Limited and conducts its activities under Liquor License number 007/OFF/9215/2021.

2. Responsible Consumption and Safety

2.1 While we appreciate the enjoyment that comes with wine consumption, we strongly urge you to drink responsibly and ensure the safety of yourself, your friends, and your family.

3. Prices and Taxes

3.1 All prices displayed on our website include Goods and Services Tax (GST) and are quoted in New Zealand dollars. Loveblock believes in offering a fair pricing structure that applies to all quantities, whether you purchase a single bottle or a dozen.

4. Delivery Information

4.1 Comprehensive details about our delivery service can be found on the delivery page. However, please take note of the following important information:

4.2 Loveblock partners with Post Haste to deliver your wine. Deliveries are made on standard working days (Monday to Friday). 

4.3 If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the driver will leave a calling card for you to arrange re-delivery or collection from the depot, with the exception of Rural Deliveries. If you are located in a Rural Delivery area we recommend having your parcel delivered to the nearest Post Haste Collection Point if it is unlikely that you will be home to sign for your delivery.

4.4 Because wine is regulated under the Sale of Liquor Act You do not have the option to provide specific delivery instructions, such as leaving the wine in a safe place (e.g., by the back door, with neighbours, or in the garden shed). All wine must be signed for and proof of age provided by anyone who looks under 25 years of age. Please note that Loveblock is not responsible for any loss or damage that may occur after the delivery has been authorized. Additionally, please be aware that drivers cannot guarantee any text or phone call requests.

5. Payment Options

5.1 Loveblock accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards through our secure online checkout.

6. Returns Policy

6.1 At Loveblock, we have a straightforward and fair returns policy that aligns with our expectations as online shoppers.

6.2 In the event that a product is broken, damaged, or missing during transit, we will replace it or provide a full refund at no additional cost to you. Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery to initiate the return process.

6.3 If you are dissatisfied with the wine or believe that a particular bottle is faulty, we will replace the product and/or arrange for the collection of any unopened bottles for a refund. Please inform us within 30 days of your purchase. Kindly note that this policy applies to deliveries within New Zealand only. For Rural Deliveries, please note that there is no courier collection service for returns, and the items will need to be dropped off at your nearest rural agent of Post Haste.

7. Out of Stocks

7.1 In the unlikely event that a product you have purchased is out of stock, we will promptly notify you. You will have the option to receive a refund for that specific product, choose a replacement, or wait until it is back in stock.

9. Your Security

Ensuring the safe and secure processing of your credit card details is our utmost priority. We hold ourselves to the same high standards we expect when engaging in online shopping.

To handle your transactions, we utilize Windcave (formerly known as Payment Express), a renowned provider offering a secure payment gateway.

Our payment gateway is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), which encompasses a comprehensive set of requirements established by major card issuers such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Rest assured that Loveblock does not have access to or store your credit card details. For identification purposes prior to sending the goods, we are only provided with the first six and last two digits of your card number.

For added security, our website offers “3D Secure” through the Verified by Visa and Mastercard Securecode schemes for users who are enrolled. If you have enrolled with your bank for this additional security layer, it will prompt you to enter a password as an extra step during the payment process.

Any personal information you provide is securely transmitted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) data encryption. This means that the information you submit is encrypted using a special certificate key and then decrypted using another key upon transmission. When you access SSL-secured sections of our website, such as the payment screen, you will see a symbol displayed in your browser window indicating that the site is secure (typically a locked padlock symbol).

However, we will never store your credit card details unless explicitly requested.
