2019 Pinot Gris
“Tighter, crisper and leaner than many New Zealand Pinot Gris by virtue of its extreme, elevated coastal site. Loveblock’s 2019 Pinot Gris still shows some honeyed richness on its medium-bodied palate, providing welcome relief to the tart, mixed-citrus aromas and flavors. Give it another year in the cellar, and be rewarded with greater breadth and texture.” 89 Points, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
2019 Pinot Noir
“Although based in Marlborough, the Crawfords source fruit from Central Otago for their 2019 Pinot Noir. Brash and bold, it’s dark-fruited effort with hints of cola and black cherries alongside leather, cedar and spice notes. Medium to full-bodied, it’s beefy and sturdy on the palate with coarse, grainy tannins that deserve another year or so of cellaring.” 87 Points, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
