2020 Loveblock Central Otago Pinot Noir – 95 Points

Vibrant, complex, ripe, varietal and intense pinosity with aromas of crushed black cherry, dried raspberry and plum compote. There’s a core of mineral and toasty leesy complexity. Bright, fresh, precise, fruity and quite delicious on the palate. Flavours of berries and mineral, some exotic spice moments and toasty barrel layers. Fine chalky tannins, a refreshing acid line add grip and mouthfeel. With a core of pinosity this is excellent drinking now, but will age beautifully as well with ideal drinking from late 2022 through 2028.

2020 Loveblock Marlborough Dry Riesling – 94 Points

Aromas of fresh green and red apple, lemon peel and white flowers, a core of cold stone minerality and a light lees complexity. Crisp, fresh, textured, refreshing and dry on the palate. Flavours citrus and tree fruits that reflect the nose are intense and vibrant. Acidity is high and bright adding both crispness and texture as well as carrying flavour throughout the palate. Long finish, a perfect aperitif and will age well. Best drinking from 2021 through 2031+.

2020 Loveblock Marlborough Gewurztraminer – 93 Points

Exotic, fragrant, floral, varietal and seductive bouquet. Aromas of white fleshed fruits and ripe citrus, fresh quince and apple, white fleshed stone fruits and fragrant spices. Delicious on the palate in a just dry expression with mouth-watering acidity, balanced and luscious with fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. Well made and ready to drink upon purchase and through 2023.

2019 Loveblock Marlborough TEE Sauvignon Blanc – No Sulphur Added / Organic – 92 Points

Complex and enticing bouquet with aromas of fresh quince and red apple, some tropical fruits with baked pineapple and fresh lychee. There’s also a leesy autolysis highlighting aromas of hay and dried herb. Equally exotic on the palate with a fine fruit tannins and acidity bringing mouthfeel as strong as the flavours of fruit, mineral and spice. Satin finish, balanced, well made and ready. Best drinking upon purchase and through 2023.

2020 Loveblock Marlborough TEE Sauvignon Blanc – No Sulphur Added / Organic – 91 Points

Exotic and complex bouquet, aromas of apple and stone fruit tea, baked peach and persimmon flesh. The classic aromas of fresh herbs and tropical fruits are present as quiet echoes of a different style and nod to a different benchmark. Fruit flavours mirror the nose with a firm youthful texture, some super fine fruit tannins and leesy complexity. Balanced and well made with a persistent finish. Ideal drinking is upon purchase and through 2023.
