The grapes come from our Loveblock farm in the Lower Awatere sub region of Marlborough. Perched high on the hill, about 150m above sea level, our Muscat grapes ripened exceptionally early and were harvested on 12 March. The juice was immediately processed at the winery ready for fermentation.
The juice was cool fermented until dry. Stabilised and then chaptalized, the wine was re inoculated for a secondary ferment in bottle. When dry for a second time the wine was disgorged, liquored and corked.
Made in true Prosecco style.
Colour: Pale gold.
Aroma: Fresh and floral with rosewater and honey.
Palate: Fills with seductive notes of Turkish Delight, rosewater, lime, orange and cinnamon leading to a dry finish with cleansing acidity.
Cellar: Up to five years.
Status: Sustainably grown and made.
